  1. Rehabilitation

What conditions does orthopaedic physiotherapy address?

Physiotherapy treats all pathologies related to:

  1. Orthopedic problems

  2. Neurology

  3. Rheumatology

  4. Cardiology and pulmonary

  5. Geriatric

  6. Pediatric

  7. Wounds and burns

  8. Post partum programs

  9. Sports injuries

How long does a physiotherapy appointment last?

Physioline treatment times are a minimum of one 45 min but it usually depends on the nature of the problem treated and the techniques used in the treatment.

What happens at a physiotherapy appointment?

During the first appointment, you will be asked a number of questions including the history of your problem, the nature of your symptoms, previous injuries and medical conditions.

This information will help the physiotherapist to keep a medical file of you, determine if there are physical conditions that would prohibit or limit a treatment as well as draw up a treatment plan.

A physical assessment will take place afterwards to evaluate any physical disabilities. Following the assessment a briefing is made to acknowledge you with useful information concerning your case.

An appropriate treatment plan follows combining both the equipments and the techniques.

How many physiotherapy treatments are needed?

On completion of the initial assessment you will be given an estimate as to how many therapy sessions you are likely to need and as to how long it will take for your body to heal.

In some cases some simple advice and exercises may be enough to successfully manage your condition in which case you would only need 1 or 2 sessions.

In the majority of cases a short course of treatment (10) sessions should be sufficient to achieve an optimal recovery and significantly reduce your risk of relapse or re-injury.

In cases where there has been significant tissue damage or if your physiotherapist suspects you may be suffering from a rheumatologic condition we can refer you on to the appropriate orthopaedic physicians, rheumatologists or orthopaedic surgeons for further investigation and management.

We have links with some of the top consultants in the country in their respective fields should their services be required.

When injuries are left to their own devices all sorts of compensatory strategies and secondary problems can develop, resulting in ultimately more treatment sessions and / or surgery being required. The sooner you get to us the sooner you are going to feel better and you are also more likely to make a full recovery.

Is it important to bring x-rays results to the physiotherapy appointment?

Yes, and if possible any other results (e.g. MRI, CT scan, bone scan, blood analysis if applicable).

What should I wear to my appointments?

Please ensure you wear or bring with you loose comfortable clothing (ideally vest and shorts) in order to permit accurate assessment of your body and its movement patterns.

2. Cellulite

Is LPG really effective? Is it scientifically proven?

LPG's techniques have been used for many years by plastic surgeons, dermatologists, doctors, physical therapists, institutes, and spas throughout the world.
Their efficacy has been proven by more than 105 clinical and scientific studies. The main study, coordinated by Professor Lafontan (INSERM, Toulouse), demonstrates that the latest generation of Cellu M6 motorized rolls activates lipolysis (fat elimination increased by 70%) by stimulating the fat cell via its ß receptors, which are responsible for the removal of fat.

Does it hurt?

Although it is intense, a good Lipomassage should never hurt! Instead, during and after the session, you have a true sense of well-being. If the session is painful, the setting is not adequate. Do not hesitate to speak with your practitioner.

What happens to the released fat?

First, sugars and fats are stored by adipocytes in fat tissue. During a Lipomassage session, the LPG rolls stimulate the lipolysis and activate the fat release. They are thus transformed into a source of energy for the muscles.

What are the contraindications?

In general, Lipomassage should not be practiced in cases of serious and progressive illness, serious blood circulation disorders, phlebitis, or pregnancy.
If in doubt, ask your practitioner or doctor for advice.

What is Endermowear?

LPG Endermowear is a clothing specially designed for Lipomassage. For personal use, it ensures perfect hygiene, and its opaque areas protect your privacy during the treatment. The Endermowear's unique composition ensures an excellent grip of the skin for an even more effective Lipomassage.

Why be active after a Lipomassage session?

Obviously, being active is recommended for good health – but it also enhances the session results. When you are active after a Cellu M6 treatment, the fat that you released during your session is quickly burned off by your body's elevated metabolism.

How long does it take to see the results?

You will feel results after the very first use. Treated areas are less compact, less voluminous, and decongested. Your skin is smoother and softer.
After six sessions, the results are intensified: your orange-peel skin is smoother, and your figure is reshaped and toned!

Do I need to follow a diet along with my Lipomassage sessions?

It all depends on your weight and your beauty goals! All sorts of diets can help you to lose weight, but rarely where you want to. In addition, cellulite is usually unaffected by even the strictest diets. Lipomassage specifically targets these stubborn areas. Ideally, your Lipomassage program will be paired with a varied, balanced diet and regular physical exercise (ex. 30 minutes of walking per day).

Do the results last?

Results appear quickly and last. After a program, one session per month is generally sufficient to maintain the effects of the Lipomassage.

3. Endermolift

Is Endermolift really effective? Is it scientifically proven?

LPG's techniques have been used for many years by plastic surgeons, dermatologists, doctors, physical therapists, institutes, and spas known throughout the world. Their efficacy has been proven by more than 105 clinical and scientific studies. The most recent study, coordinated by Professor Lafontan (INSERM, Toulouse), demonstrates that the action of the latest generation of Cellu M6 deeply thickens skin by activating the production of collagen (+240%) and elastin (+160%) for an effective, 100% natural anti-aging solution.

This is a frequently asked question?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Should I continue using cosmetics during my program?

Of course! Moisturizing is an essential part of daily skin protection. For best anti-aging results, we recommend using LPG Soins Techniques cosmetics to complement your Endermolift program. Developed by LPG Experts, this line of highly-concentrated care products helps to stimulate cellular renewal and to protect against external oxidation (UV, free radicals, etc.). LPG cellular stimulation improves the effectiveness of cosmetics products.

What are the contraindications?

In general, Endermolift should not be used on patients with a serious illness or skin infection. If in doubt, ask your practitioner or doctor for advice.

How long does it take to see the results?

You will see results after the very first use. Your skin will be smoother, and you'll have a natural healthy complexion! After 12 sessions, the results intensified. Your wrinkles will be smoother, your facial contours will be redefined, your cheekbones enhanced, and your face will appear younger!

Are the results permanent?

Results appear immediately and last. After a targeted program, one optimization session per month is generally sufficient to increase the effects of Endermolift.

I have used botulinum toxin (Botox®) and/or hyaluronic acid injections. Can I also follow an Endermolift program?

We strongly recommend complementing these injections with Endermolift's 100% natural cellular stimulation. Before the injections: Endermolift provides tissue with oxygen and improves vascularization, allowing products to be better injected. After the injections: Endermolift helps to distribute filling products more evenly. You are simply advised to avoid treatment on the injected area for a few days (or as long as it is inflamed). Please consult your doctor or plastic surgeon.

Does it hurt?

Although it is intense, an Endermolift session should never hurt! Instead, during and after the session, you have a true sense of relaxation and well-being. If the session is painful, the setting is not adequate. Do not hesitate to speak with your practitioner.

What is the Endermolift Kit?

The Endermolift Kit is a set of accessories intended for use in Endermolift treatments. Tailored to your skin type, it comes in Sensitive (for thin or sensitive skin) and Regular (for normal to thick skin). Designed for personal use, it ensures perfect hygiene during the treatment. The Endermolift Kit includes three different Lift sizes (flaps tailored to to the Cellu M6 treatment head), a headband, and a sample of LPG Soins Techniques cosmetics.

Is Endermolift compatible with a facelift?

We also recommend a few Endermolift sessions before and after a facelift! For this, LPG Experts have developed before and after a facelift protocols.
Pre-operatory: Endermolift provides tissue with oxygen and improves vascularization in order to prepare the skin for the procedure. Post-operatory: With its draining action, Endermolift improves the absorption of edema and considerably reduces the side effects of surgery. Please consult your doctor or plastic surgeon.
